Meetings

COMMITTEE MEETINGS

As a part of being on any one of the volunteer committees for the Stampede, we often will pull everyone together to discuss goals and objectives.  This may be in-person or via video call, but it's important that participation on any committee be active and engaging.  Collaboration between all members creates the success of the overall project!

BOARD MEETINGS

The Board of Directors meets once each month to discuss the business as presented by the Executive Director.  For the agenda, minutes, and more information, please follow the link below!

LEVEL PARENT MEETINGS

Level parent meetings are facilitated each year for both our in-house teams (Termite, Mite, 8U), our travel teams (Squirt, 10U, Peewee, 12U, Bantam, 14U+), and for our Rec League.   In-House Parent Meetings and Travel Parent Meetings are on the schedule and will be communicated to all parents who have enrolled their players at that level.  Supporting documentation from those events are often shared on the website.

Parent meetings for Rec League are often held just prior to the first practice/game, either the same day or just prior.

TEAM MEETINGS

Once teams are announced, we ask the Coaches and Team Management leaders to schedule a team meeting with all parents and players on their team.   This is a time for leadership to introduce themselves, set direction on the season, and get to know one another.  It's expected that all players attend these meetings along with one guardian, with dates, times and locations to be determined by your team leadership after the teams  have been announced.

COACH MEETINGS

Training and ongoing meetings for coaches is imperative for the success of both the coach and the overall program.  Information about these meetings will be communicated from the Hockey Director and Assistant Hockey Director with additional details found in the Coaches Corner via the link below.

TEAM MANAGEMENT MEETINGS

Team Managers and Team Schedulers often hold a meeting at the beginning of the year to ensure volunteers in these positions are on the same page and receive updates on processes and procedures.  Once individuals are selected for these roles, they will be invited to these events.   If you are looking for more information about Team Management, click the link below.
